She LOVES to nurse. She has had no problems with it. SUCH a blessing. Grace took a few days of working with to get her to latch on. Penny came out, latched on. And has wanted to stay that way since.I forgot how tiny newborns are. I just want to snuggle her all day. She is so cuddly, and wonderful. I am one HAPPY mama.
Grace is adjusting well. She loves her baby. VERY protective. Very interested in everything she is doing (including nursing). She loves to hold her, and give her kisses. She does enjoy climbing all over me while nursing Penny. It is nothing if not irritating, but I am trying REALLY ( not necessarily successfully) trying to not get mad at her. I can tell that she feels a little slided.
this was Pennys first picture. Right out of the womb. 6 pounds 11 oz. 19 inches long. When the came out I couldn't believe how tiny she was. Grace was 7 lbs 1 oz....but seriously Penny is just so little. I LOVE IT! She is the cutest peanut around.

Oh, I can't wait to see her! The other day at my parents Grace was so excited to announce, "Penny came out of mommy's belly!" It was adorable. Hopefully the novelty of having a new baby will wear off soon. It's hard when you have to fight with siblings over who gets to hold the baby. :)

So sweet! I LOVE the name Penny! Alivia was an incredible nurser from day one (Simeon was always terrible) and let me tell you it is an amazing amazing thing. I remember at one point thinking that she must not be eating well because it only took 10 minutes total to nurse her! I'm pretty sure Seth just laughed at me when he looked at her cheeks and thighs.
