So much has happened! I don't even know where to begin. There are so many new things going on in our life right now. Such a fun and exciting time. It just seems like the blessing keep on coming.
Grace is POTTY TRAINED! I can't even believe it. She just seems so much older now. She has just grown up! She is using sentences more and more, she is understanding the world around her. AND she pees and poops in the toilet. I mean....I just feel like she is suddenly OLDER! It is so exciting, and so odd at the same time. I can't say that I am sad, because every new stage in Graces life is so exciting to me. I just love watching her take in life. I love the little person she is becoming...but it is just so very SUDDEN!
Please excuse the mess around our back room. BUT seriously how could you look at anything BUT Gracie's cute little smile face?

Seriously I feel more and more crunchy everyday. People...this is getting out of control. I even found myself reading natural childbirth blogs the other day....and liking them?
Anyways. The point is that I am totally exciting about essential oils these day. I mean my standard of health is getting so much bigger and better. They smell so good, and they are just so wonderful. I could rant for hours about the benefits of them...but I won't. Just know that I play with my oils for the better part of everyday!
Aren't they pretty? It was my early birthday present from my parents. I have to say this is my MOST FAVORITE present that I have ever gotten! Seriously, don't be surprised if I stop shaving my arm pits soon... (seriously I will never do that!)

Seriously, don't be surprised if I stop shaving my arm pits soon... (seriously I will never do that!)So when I'm not playing oils, and taking Grace potty, I have been OBSESSED with canning. I feel so...so...MORMON! I learned how to can meat, and then I have been canning tomato's whenever I can get my hands on some fresh ones (yeah, don't ask about our tomato plants...they aren't doing so well). My mom has tons of extra, and Geneen (my mother in law) gave some to us yesterday. I was so excited about the new tomato's that I bottled them this morning. I experimented this time. I put salt and pepper and fresh herbs in the bottles with the tomato's...instant spaghetti sauce! I can't wait to make some spaghetti
Water bathing them!
LOOK AT THAT! Sealed and everything. Don't they look so wonderful?
Look at them lined up? It does my heart good. I am telling you...canning is like a drug, it is addicting and makes you feel SO GOOD!I still have MANY painting projects to finish( my kitchen table, my bathroom, the hall bathroom). But Graces chest of drawers is coming along. I just have two more drawers to finish...and I just keep putting it of. I mean it would only take a couple of hours...but I just can't seem to talk myself into finishing. BUT, even though it isn't finished I wanted to share. Just imagine it being finished....

I really like the way it has turned out. It kinda has a Cinderella feel, no? Very princessish....That's about it for now. Remember to head over to "lovely lifestyle" and check out the really cool vintage pearl giveaway!
