For the last couple of weeks she has been obsessed with this hair spray bottle. Yeah, she calls it her baby? She wraps it up in blankets, and carries it around "shhing" it and rocking it. She will put it to sleep, and will tell me it is crying at times. Yeah....
She has also taken to dressing herself. I am glad that this doesn't bother me, because she has some serious style! Let do some inventory.
*Sequin black shoes that are too small, but she insists that they are the only shoes that she can wear. check
*Shorts (yeah, they are there, just under everything). check
*Fluffy tutu. check
* Dress. check*Jacket ("I'm cold mommy"). Check
Yep. I think she got everything. The other day She worse a dress with jeans, flip flops, and her other winter coat...buttoned down.
It is so entertaining to see what she picks out.
Shes not that into naps these days. I don't want to fight with her about it. So she conks out in random places. I haven't caught it that often on camera...but she never just lays her head down and goes to sleep. It was cute. We needed to put it on the records.
I have also found that Grace is an excellent help in the kitchen. She LOVES (seriously LOVES) to help. She loves pulling her chair up, and helping with whatever she can or I will let her do. She can put tomato's in the jars before canning. She can help make eggs. She can do all sorts of things. I makes me feel like I am doing something good as a mother when she helps out. I mean she won't want to help for much longer...I gotta soak it in while she loves it!
Grace got into the PERMANENT markers! Thank goodness for Mr. clean magic erasers. But seriously there has to be consequences. So she got to "clean up her mess". She was very energetic about the whole process. I was really impressed. Do you think she will handle it this good when she is 16?
Ps: Grace just got over the stomach flu. She was throwing up, and running a fever of 102. I rubbed some oils on her feet and she stopped throwing up, and her fever was reduced to 100! Within like 30 mins of rubbing them on her feet! MIRACLES people, miracles!
PSS: Held over to Lovely Lifestyle to try you hand at winning a blog face lift!

i love this stage the girls are in~ they are so funny and cute! grace is so darling :)
it's still so crazy to me that not only are you a mom but your baby is a full blown child now! she's just about the cutest thing ever!
Cute! Boys can't get too stylish when they dress themselves, they just don't have the options. And maybe they care less about dressing themselves and more about taking their clothes off :D But I love to see little girls in crazy outfits because you just know that they have started dressing themselves. So cute!
