I think what annoys Spencer most about me is when I do this....
Me: "Spencer, do you love me?"
Spencer: "yes, of coarse I do."
Me: "but WHY do you love me?"
Spencer: "????" (with a really annoyed look on his face)
When we were first married Spencer would gladly reply with tons of reasons why he loved me. NOW, when I am still asking him...it totally BUGS him. Seriously...who can blame him?
On another note...remember that kitty kitty kitty I was talking about? The one the Grace is obsessed with? Well Grace calls it "litie litie"...and anytime it runs away from her (which is often). She puts her arms up, and waves them up and down and says "wheresitgo"...OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Then she starts to cry. Then one of us will go and get it from under wherever it is hiding, and give it to her...THEN
She does that. Snuggles her head with the kitty, and rubs her face back and forth across her fur. She moans, and kisses the kitty, till it can escape...then we start all over!
She loves the cats...the other day we were on a walk, and she spotted a cat. She started to run towards it...but it was a smart cat...it ran under the bushes. Well Grace made a quick dive under the bushes to catch it. I walked over to get her out, and saw the the bushes had TONS OF SPIDERS in them. I started to freak (hello black widows...I watched a special about children getting bitten by spiders, and it was really freaky). I had to pull her out by her feet, and drag her across the yard. All the while Grace was screaming, and wiping snot all over her face, crying "litielitielite". Don't worry...it was in someones yard I didn't even know. And people stopped to watch! I should have charged them money for such brilliant entertainment!

It's SO CUTE how much she loves that cat! Personally I hate the devils, but it makes me happy that someone can find so much joy from a cat...
that's so funny you ask WHY. I am guilty of doing that alll the time to Chase & he gets SO annoyed! I think it's women thing & wanting details all the time? Or I just have the same annoying habit as you :) Ok those pictures of Grace with the kittie are adorable. & I'm sorry but that is a funny story about dragging her across the yard. You should start carrying a can around & after "a show" go around & collect some money :) Those people clearly did not have kids.

I'm afraid that I would have stopped and watched. And probably laughed. I'm sure everyone who saw had either been there done that or WILL have to pull a toddler out of somewhere by their feet. I'm so glad you share the stories. They are fantastic!

Jonathan has always been a little obsessed with our cat, and now Conover is too. And he (Conover) actually caught her once. I couldn't believe it. I was walking down the hall and he was sitting there by the door holding her and loving her(i.e. pulling her skin as hard as possilbe).I think she is either a very patient and loving cat, or stupid, because she lets the kids catch her.
I don't know what I'd do if my kids started to love cats. I'd break their hearts, I guess, because I don't think we'll ever get one.
