Who would have thought my venting session would turn into such a self esteem booster!!! I just thought I was venting my frustration, but I got back the best complements of the year!!! Thank you to everyone that made my day, week, month...year!
I wish that I could post some pictures, but I can't find my USB cord (we are still unpacking).
For now I will just have to write an update...boreing! Anyways...sooooo, we are FINALLY in our house. I have mixed feelings about this. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my house...it is beautiful! I love walking around it all day. I love our floors, and and kitchen, I love that I have my furniture. I love letting Grace cry in the middle of the night, and not having to worry about other people waking up. Needless to say, I really do LOVE my house. BUT, I do miss the comforts of my parents house. I miss having someone to talk to all day. I miss not having to pick up. I just miss it over there. So I just need a little while to get used to this house. I have (by me, I mean Spencer) hung ONE thing on the wall. We keep telling ourselves that we will hang more, but there is just too much other stuff that needs to be done. PLUS..did I mention that Grace STILL has double ear infections??? Yes, it is the spone of my existence! She is going in tomorrow to get her 3rd AB!! I think tubs are coming my way this winter...what do you think? So we really having been doing much, but cleaning and unpacking, and dealing with little miss cranky pants.
Also, I am really starting to get started on my flower business! We need money, and I need to work, so I have started. I have SOOo chicken to advertise, but I have to overcome my fears, and get my buns out there. SOOO, if you know of anyone, that need flowers (wedding, birthday, anniversary, funeral...ANYTHING) PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I promise that if you go and take a look-see over at my flower blog "posies" you will see that I do quality work.
Another thing on my mind. What is up with all this talk about Gov. Sarah Palin?? Why are people going crazy about her daughter? Also, she has like TWO scandals...her daughter, and her brother in law. People are jumping on those two things like they are at a bounce center. It is out of control in my option. First of all, how many people in America have pregnant daughters? I would like to know. Then I would like all of the people who think that Gov. Palin should have "controlled" her daughter to shut up. Since when did people start thinking that, we as parents can "control" our kids? We most certainly can teach proper rules, and ways to live our lives, and theirs, but we most certainly can not control what they do after that point. Also, what does her daughter being prego have to do with her being the vice president?
Maybe I shouldn't have wrote my thoughts of that subject...but I am just going crazy listening to everyone talk about her. A parent has as much control over their kids having sex as Hilliary did over her husband have it!!!
I am turning of the news, and I will not say anymore! I am worried this might be alittle controversial..I am sorry if I offend you. But let me know what your thoughts are about Sarah Palin...

Sarah Palin is getting the same treatment from the liberal media that Clarence Thomas got when he was appointed to the supreme court.
Liberals can't stand to allow people to see happy conservative minorities or women. So when a conservative woman or minority shows up on stage, they turn on them like a pack of dogs and try to destroy them.
So much for all their talk of tolerance...

BTW, I love the choice of Sarah Palin. It may be what wins the election for John McCain. The kind of hatred you are seeing from the Left turns people off (like you--thats why you wrote this). Women are going to see that the left is no friend to family women--and thats not a good image to have.
get the tubes!!! Presley is going in on the 15th for her tubes,she has now had 8 ear infections at 12 months old, and the most recent one being a week ago,so the doc said if she is getting one in aug,it's gonna be a bad winter.the fluid in their ears never goes away that is why the infections are so frequent.don't prolong it I hear they are different kids once they get them.I'll let you know how it goes.love reading your blog you are so entertaining
I agree with you! I think people are very sexist when they keep asking whether or not she can control her kids and be VP? Would they ask that of a man? NO! Of course, not!
My kids both need tubes! We go on sept 11th to schedule our surgery date for both of them!
Everything I have seen of Sarah Palin has been great. She gave an awesome speech last night! What I couldn't believe was Chris Matthews (a commentator on MSNBC - we were flipping through the channels afterwards). He had the AUDACITY to say it sounded more like she might be running against Michelle Obama for first lady than Biden for VP. For someone who is so "tolerant" that is about the most sexist thing that could be said!! If it were a man that gave that EXACT same speech, Matthews wouldn't have even thought that he was "running for first lady". I have issues with McCain, but I hope he wins just to shut up people like that!! I know I am more willing to vote for him because he picked Palin.
I can't believe she still has ear infections! Poor girl. I would go with the tubes...I don't have experience with them, but I've heard only good things.
