How to Make a Pregnant person MAD!
Remember how I have been craving the smells of water, dirt, and mostly water on cement? Seriously I crave the smell of water and cement more than anything. As a matter of fact I might have had Spencer spray the cement down just so I could lay on it. And smell it. I'm blaming it on the pregnancy and hormones. Maybe I'm iron deficient? So this morning I woke up. The wind was blowing. The weather was delicious, and I couldn't help myself. I had to go outside, start watering, and digging out my front flower bed. About half way through shoveling dirt, and pulling weeds my lower back decided that it was a bad idea. So I hurried and finished and just focused on watering the grass. I opened ALL my windows to let the fresh air (and the smell of water with cement, and grass) in my house. As I finished, I shut the door. Sat in my chair, and have been LOVING the smell of fresh air, and water!!! I am serious. LOVE IT. AMAZING. Sitting in a recliner, smelling good smells. Sipping water. I am happy! I am re-reading this and it is dawning on me how truly crazy I sound. I swear I haven't always been this obsessed with smells. It mostly started when I hit 35 weeks pregnant. Well. My neighbors. Who have choosen to smoke....all the time. Decided to light up! All of the sudden smoke smell is coming through my windows. WHAT THE FREAK!!!! Wait to cramp my style. I have honestly contemplated buying the HUGEST fan ever. Putting it pointed towards their yard, and turning it on. TO.... 1. Piss them off 2. Make sure none of the tumor causing, teeth rotting, smelly, stinky, habit comes into my yard, or windows. Don't they know the 2nd hand smoke KILLS! Maybe i'll put copies of this poster all over their yard.

you crack me up. I didn't realize you were due so soon. Funny thing, I love the smell of wet cement too (and I'm not even preggo so I have nthing to blame it on). Like after it rains...I love the smell of the wet cement and road. ok I guess I'm crazy and weird too. Whatever. I think you should get a giant fan and do that. If people want to smoke, fine, but do it where it's not bothering other people! Esp a pregnant woman trying to enjoy her smells through her open window :)
PS I don't know how often you check FB but I'm having a small boutique party thing at my house on Saturday if you want to drop by-although I know there's a million huge boutiques that weekend too.
I don't think you sound crazy at all.
But that just might mean I'm crazy too.
My neighbor smokes, with his oxygen tank. But they hate my dog so I figure we're even.
UGH!!!! There are few things I hate more than the wretched smell of cigarette smoke. Jami, that would make anybody mad--even us not pregnant people!
I HATE cigs. HATE HATE HATE. I wish they would make it illegal. my neighbor smokes too.. so we don't leave our sliding door open much bc of it. bummer!
