Easter 2011

Grace has been anticipating this holiday for about 2 months. She calls it "bunny rabbit rooster". Seriously, the "rooster bunny". AND she wanted the "rooster bunny" to bring her a "pencil" dress (aka Rapunzel dress).

Last year I was so excited about this holiday. This year I was just as much excited, but for different reasons. I just wanted my baby out! So unfortunately since Penny was born just 5 days ago, we didn't color eggs this year. I had full intentions to, but the time just got away from me. BUT, we did get some pictures. Grace has a buck-tooth grin in almost every single one of the pictures. Were just gonna go ahead and count that as part of her charm...

We went to the annual easter egg hunt at Sterling and Debbies farm/backyard. Their yard is beautiful! They have so many fun animals, and fruit trees. We look forward to this event all year long. Penny was a gem, just slept in my arms. Well she did nurse most of the time. But thats ok.

Here is Grace with Penny after the easter egg hunt. I am ashamed to admitt...but I tried to cut Graces bangs by myself!!! They are really short!!! lesson learned, leave cutting hair to the professionals. She also LOVES to lick the bottom of her lips. Hence the chapped lower lip.

Grace was super fast. No time for pictures, she was busy getting her eggs!

Before we left I thought we should take a picture of the first time I had to get 2 childern ready. I was frazzled to say the least. I don't know what I would do without Spencer. How do you get more than one child ready (along with ones self) without help????

Just throwing this in cuz she is so stinking cute!

These pictures are all jumbled up. BUT the 'rooster bunnie" did infact bring her a 'pencil' dress. Check out that grin!

Easter Egg hunting in the front yard (because the back is full of dog crap).

Oh my heck, Penny is BEAUTIFUL!!! I can just see how soft and perfect all her sweet little features and body parts are!!! It's making me baby hungry! That little Gracie is just filled to the brim with charm, she is such a cutie. It doesn't look like Easter disappointed her in the least!!!

Hey Jami if you really wanna join our biggest loser, or if you just wanna weigh in and not do the money part that's cool too. Email me carrie_jayson at yahoo.com and I'll let you know where I live :)

Oh and your girls are just too sweet and I sincerely love your baby's name! I want to name a girl some version of Penelope so bad, though I think my husband is opposed. He only likes boring names...
