The problem with power posting is that this all happened like last month! SOO, excuse me if my memory escapes me....
Back when it was wasn't getting hot (like 3 weeks ago...or was it 2?) I decided that it was a beautiful day for planting more vegetable plants. Spencer had dug out our flower beds, and put fresh new dirt in. It was perfect for planting. The weather was so wonderful I couldn't make myself stay inside. So Grace and I planted! And here are our results. I can't tell you how much I love watching our plants grow (well some of them died). I just have such visions for our backyard. Sometimes I get frustrated with how slow things move. But I know that the longer I have to wait, the better it will be when it is all done!
Lovely peppers (some aren't doing so well, but I am trying my darnedest to make them live!), and onions!
This most wonderful Calla Lilli just popped up one day. I didn't even put it there! Don't mind all the weeds...
My very lovely assistant! Is there anything cuter. I know these pictures might seem random. But this was one of my most favorite days this year! I couldn't help but just fall so very deeply in love with my family and house.
I planted a yellow melon. I am really excited to see how it does. I planted 2, but one already died. So we will see..
This is our very sad lime tree. It was once full of leaves. But sadly it had a nasty run in with Grace, and was left like this. I am really sad too. I really wanted limes.
Parsley!
Of course Basil. I just made some pesto today, with my yummy basil. I love watering this plant. As soon as the water touches the leaves I can smell it.I can't wait till next spring. I am so sad that it is already gone. Well maybe not according to the calender...but I turned my AC on yesterday. Spring is OVER!

I wish I had a green thumb like you and your mom. But sadly I dont like my mom.
You are officially my gardening hero!
wow pretty sure you rock. If I tried to grow anything, I think it would die. Or I would forget about it causing it to die.
