Christmas 2009

Christmas this year was beautiful. We couldn't have made it any better. We have been so blessed with each other, and our wonderful families!

Spencer and I both commented that this was our favorite Christmas. Why you ask? It was filled with one another, and family. We weren't worried about what we were getting, we just wanted to spend time with each other. It was such a Merry Christmas!

Grace was beyond overwhelmed with all of the "love/presents" she received from everyone. We are so blessed to have so many people that love her.

This is Grace's Potty Chair! Yah! After we got home that night I set it up, and we "sat on the potty". Grace was so excited about the whole experience. We sat there, and sang, and played. She never went potty...but it was definitely fun. The next morning we sat on the potty again...only this time she was done after a couple of mins. Regardless, I made her sit there for 3 whole mins. She was pissed! After I let her get up, she ran out of the bathroom, got the box that her potty chair came in. She dragged it into the bathroom, and told me "put it away!". I guess we will wait to potty train till spring.

She was so overwhelmed. She would just stand and look at things. She was also having a really hard time putting her Disney princess dolls down to OPEN the other presents.

We are so blessed! I am sad that the holidays are almost over. I love winter, and I love the holidays. I will just have to start dreaming about next year!

i recently potty trained hannah. i PROMISE you this is the best way to do it. take her diaper off and let her run around naked and stick to a certain room (tile if possible) and play with her none stop then when she starts to go potty stick the chair under her and if even the tinyest drop makes it in the potty dance and sing and give her something cool like a sticker or candy. they say with in 3 days she will be potty trained....then you just gradually work on getting her to understand that underwear isn't a diaper. it LITERALLY took hannah 1 afternoon and she was potty trained!
