Book Review

Absence from blog world has been on account of my adult acne. Seeing as how I seriously should not be leaving my house (or my room), I have been doing a lot of reading...

I read Catching Fire after it came out.

My thoughts are as follows...

1. In the beginning I thought it was just like the first book (the hunger games). But then the ending came...and I just about died! She did a GREAT job with the book, but mostly the ending. I totally saw SOMETHING coming, but I couldn't put my figure on it. Then everything happened, and I loved it.

2. I DO NOT know who I like more. Sometimes I love Peeta, and then sometimes I love Gale??? I mean I always love them both...but I just can't see who she will end up with.

That is it. I loved the book.

The next book that has kept me entertained, while I wallow in self pity has been "The Memory Keepers Daughter".

I haven't finished it...but I give it two thumbs WAY up so far. A couple of people said they loved it, a couple of people said they didn't. I have really enjoyed it, and have not been able to put it down. It is set in the 60's and 70's, and it is very interesting the way our country thought back then. I would say it is totally worth the read.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get ride of acne? Seriously, is there anything more ugly than an adult face with it?

it sounds way gross but egg yoke. you qipe some on your face and leave it for like 10 minutes until it's dry....which then is a pain to get off but after like 10 days your skin looks great. warning: at first it will look worse because it will bright any blemishes hidden in your skin out.

Woman I am in the same boat except I have never seen you have acne. My acne gets even worse with pregnancy, I usually just break out more right before that time of the month but when I'm pregnant it is pretty much all the time (although there are times that it is more bearable). I mean you know its bad when you just touch your face and it starts bleeding or puss starts coming out, not joking. You know the whole touch up option on photo editing has been my best friend although that doesn't hide it from anyone except the blogging world. Anyway if you find the cure, be sure to call me first!
Oh and I HAD to comment on Catching Fire. I loved it! I got so mad when they were going back to the whole arena thing because I wanted them to kick butt in the capitol. LOVED the ending! Travis read it too and really liked it. I like both guys too but by the end of this book I totally love Peeta but who knows maybe she will make Gale shine more in the third.

My sister in laws are selling this product called nu-skin, its amazing. it pretty much lifts your face and it clears up acne, safely and painlessly. they are having a party for it this Tuesday at the randalls house from 7-9 its come and go, but you can learn more about it and have it actually done on your face. feel free to come by! bring whoever!

Hey girl! I would tell you that they can laser acne off but you probably don't want me to tell you that... Might need to start reading some normal books again after seeing your reviews.

oh adult acne is also consuming my face. My only secret is the queen helene mint julep mask. It works miracles. When I am breaking out really bad I use it everyday. and then if I have one of those under ground knots I apply some to the spot and leave it on over night. Give it a try.

i gotta say i didn't like the memory keeper's daughter. it started out on a great premise but i thought it totally tanked.

i've heard that coconut oil can help. weird, i know, putting oil on an oily face? but i've heard people that swear by it.
