Life doesn't get much better!

I am back on my healthy eating kick. I took a break...a really long one. But I am back to my old self, and being the food Nazi. I am excited to finally lose ALL the weight I want to lose!
In the mean time, I have to find satisfaction in small things. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to eat. As a matter of fact I just love the taste of good food in my mouth. I love to eat when I am board, when I am sad, happy...anytime. There are very few times when I just "forget" to eat. With this is mind, it is hard for me to find pleasure in "healthy" food. I want to eat chocolate cake...but I won't. I want to eat pizza...but I won't. I want to eat cookies...but I won't. See it is just hard.
So I set out to find something that would curb my hunger for something naughty. I FOUND IT!
There isn't much better than Jellos 60 calorie pudding cups. I am serious. They are wonderful. As long as I can have one a day, I am perfectly happy.

Now I understand that "fat free" things are what me and my good friend " The Skinny Witch" (that isn't the real name of the book that I am going to read, but for the sake of my readers, and for my image I won't say the real name) are what we like to call "a chemical CRAP storm". SO I can't eat them for long. Because if I truly want to be healthy I can't be eating all those chemicals. But till I can really get a handle on myself. I will indulge in the light, fluffy, creaminess of Jell-O's pudding snacks.

As it turns out, Grace really likes them too. I guess I am going to have to start buying the REAL pudding cups for her. I don't want her to have "a chemical CRAP storm" going on in her sweet little body!

A friend of mine pointed out how well Grace eats with utensils...she is right! My child is gifted!

Some other things I will mention.

1. I am going to make my own Landry detergent!!! I am really excited about it. A tutorial soon...

2. I have the yummiest healthiest green smoothie drink recipe to share. I wish that I could take the credit...but mt friend showed me this. So watch for the recipe!

3. I found the fountain of youth!!! I know, don't tell anyone, b/c the news will be all crazy on me...and you know I kinda like my normal life. But seriously...I found it. I will tell you all about it soon!

You are seriously making your own laundry detergent? That is so cool! I can't wait to read how you make it! And I totally understand about eating food all the time, I do the same thing and that is why I have never been skinny and probably never will, I think I have come to accept it! haha

Have you heard of momsbudget.com? They have all kinds of recipes for making your own laundry soap, cleaning supplies and stuff. They also have tips for saving money and stuff. Anyway, I think Jello makes instant pudding with splenda. You could make it and put it in little tupperwares or something = do it yourself pudding cups. And if you use fat free milk you get fat free pudding. My problem is that if I make pudding I eat half of it right then and there. It doesn't make it into snack size tupperwares :)

So many teasers! Not even fair! Your pictures of Grace look they were done by a professional.

I am all about the homemade laundry detergent so I can't wait for the post. Likewise with the smoothie. Teasing is so not nice.

I entered your blog eating a cookie(no lie), and I left inspired! You made me want to try and be healthy! If you are still planning on becoming a nurse, I recommend taking FON241, which is a nutrition class. You sound like you would love it; I sure did. Not sure if you are applying to a community college or ASU. I don't think community college requires it as a pre req, but take it at SCC with Donnenfield! It is so helpful. P.s. I loved how you mentioned the utensils...seriously, she is gifted! P.s.s. sorry for rambling

I don't know why but when I know I shouldn't eat something I want to eat it that much more. It is hard staying home all day because food is there 24/7 and I graze all day. I love eating sooooo much too, and I know its only going to get harder to loose weight as I get older so I need to try to get good eating habits too. I really want to try the jello but it doesn't look like it would be very filling only keep me wanting more. Thats sure ambitious of you to make your own detergent, I'm going to have to tune into your blog when you post that!
Hey I just wanted to let Spencer know that that was the nicest comment he left, it meant a lot to Travis. You guys are awesome and I have to tell you how amazing it is that Spencer is always doing cute little romantic things to please his woman. I hope we get to see you guys at the reunion!
