OK, I will tell you about the fountain of youth first. So, you are all going to be SUPER jealous of me finding it. I didn't even have to trek though some rotten cave to get to it (like Indiana Jones, which happens to be some of my all time favorite movies! Except for the 4th one...stupid!), I just had to drive down to my local farmers market! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the farmers market. Like seriously, I get giddy every time I get there. For those of you who DON"T go...seriously GO! It will change your life!
I have NEVER been a health nut. For crying out loud, I make FUN of health nuts. But for some reason Karma is true, and now I am becoming one. So feel free to make fun of me. It won't hurt my feelings...
OK, I am getting of topic...SOOOO, I go to the farmers market! Like usual I go and get all of my veggies. I pay for them. OH, by the way...Spencer came with me this time. He didn't have school that morning. So Spencer is with me. AT the farmers market they have all these vendors that will give you free samples of their yummy healthy foods. Spencer and Grace get a real kick out of this. Sometimes they have baby goats there...Grace FREAKS out over this! She will run around screaming "BO" at the top of her lungs. And then she starts going stiff, and clenching all of her muscles...I am NOT kidding about this. She does it for anything she really loves. You gotta love a kid with Passion!
OK, so Spencer gets a sample for some lady selling Organic Wild Arizona honey, and fruit preserves. I have been looking for some jam that is naturally sweetened for sometime. I don't want sugar jam, and I don't want splenda jam. But this lady was selling jam sweetened with apples! Yeah! So we get some! As we are talking with her, she brings up this stuff call "Bee Pollen". Now I am a health nut...but I am no freak! So I get a little sceptical of these people sometimes. But she gives me this packet of info, and I read though it. THEN she says "It gives you TONS of energy"...SOLD! I buy some.
PEOPLE....if I could say one thing while standing at the top of the tallest mountain in the world it would be to get that dang bee pollen! I am NOT kidding. It is amazing. I can't tell you everything, just goggle it, and it will tell you everything. It is amazing stuff. Go to the farmers market, and get yourself some! Me and Spencer BOTH have noticed a different in ourselves!
Read up...but seriously...DO IT!
OK, on to our trees. So you remember me telling you that I think our yard looks white trash! This is very disheartening to me! So Spencer decided that we could trim/cut down our trees. PLUS, I want to put a chicken coup right where the tree is in our yard.
And come on now...what is a health nut without some chickens! Seriously!
Well it turns out that cutting down a big tree is really hard...who would have thought. You like need....a really tall latter...and stuff like that! So the tree is half down. I will show you a picture when it is ALL down!
OK, so the moral of this story is.
1. get the bee pollen, it will change your life
2. Spencer is hot when doing yard work!

You're going to have organic free range chickens too? :P And I'm anxious to try to bee pollen. Actually, I really want to try the jam. Now that I have to read the carb count in everything I'm shocked at how much sugar is in stuff.
Jami I LOVE to read your blog posts. They always make me smile!! Maybe someday I will be a witty blogger like you.
OKay. What farmers market do you go to?
where is this farmers market at? and i am about to go mix up your drink, it looks yummy! also the bee pollen do you just eat it plain or what?
I'm really interested in this bee pollen stuff now...and I LOVE farmer's markets too! Where did you go to one? I haven't really seen any around in AZ. In CO where I'm from they are everywhere during the summer. What did you do with the bee pollen? Do you mix it with something or straight up eat it...wow that sounds retarded, I'm confused. Anyway, I believe you & am going to try it. Good luck with that tree too...it's freakin huge!
you are funny. hope the rest of the tree project goes well!
I am gonna need that bee pollen after this trip! I will definitely have to try that out! Hey could you give me your parents address by the way?
Hey totally understand! chubs11@cox.net! Thanks!
I have never heard of bee pollen but I really want to look into it now. I've only been to the farmers market a few times (in high school I had a friend who sold their flowers there). I had no idea you were such a "health nut", its inspiring. I want to go to the market get me some fresh fruit, bee pollen, and go all granola! Seriously I love all these golden nuggets of information, I got all the stuff to try that smoothie I'm excited to try it.
