Our family has had a lovely case of the "stomach bug" this season. It all started out with GRACE!!!
She started throwing up about 5 nights ago, and then has continued...
THEN Spencer got it and was in bed for about 2 days, and then is still recovering...
AND I have been thrown up on AT LEAST 3 times (that means that I had to change my clothes b/c they were COVERED in vomit). I have had to wash our sheets b/c they had throw up on them. I have had to throw away TWO of the fitted sheets for Graces crib, and then TWO blankets that were "in the way". I usually don't make it a habit to just throw away things that get dirty...I wash them. But Spencer didn't know that you have to wash OUT the nasty throw up before you throw them into the washer??? SO now they are crusty, and stained with throw up. GROSS!!!
You would think that I would learn to carry a bowl with me. But the odd thing is that Grace doesn't throw up in the day. She only starts at night??? SO every day I think "wow, I bet this is over...surely it can't be longer than 72 hours??"
THEN, the next night she wakes up covered in throw up, OR I go and pick her up, and she does it on me!!!
So Me and Spencer have been doing Landry ALL DAY, and just trying to pick up. I haven't even touched my floors or bathroom yet. BUT I am feeling a little funny now. I thought I got it acouple of days after Grace started, but then I just layed in bed all day and it was over. NOW I am starting to feel funny again. Could it be that I have encountered so much "stomach bug" vomit???
By the way, last night we took her to urgent care in the middle of the night. I was just worried (actually Spencer was more worried than ME...I know) b/c it was her 4th night of throwing up. PLUS she only had like 2 wet diapers, and she was so tired! THe doctor there put us on a clean liquids diet for 24 hours, and then the b.r.a.t.s after that. So far so good...but we will see how tonight goes.
ALSO...as if poor Grace didn't have enough she is now coming down the the croup! I feel so bad for her!!!

I cant believe you took a picture of rapunzels vomit. I almost puked myself. Our poor rapunzel. She has such a hard life for such a cute little girl.
Its SO sad when babies are sick. Simeon had the throw up thing once and it made me feel so bad for him. I hope Grace gets better fast.
Good luck guys. I know sick babies can make life really hard.
We are rootin for you!
Poor baby! That is a ton of throw up in her bed!
Oh, no!! I'm heartbroken you had to throw away some of her pretty pink things.
I have to say that is so gross Jamie!! Nasty
Yuck I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. I hope everyone is feeling better now.
Oh no! Those days are NO FUN! It's hard enough taking care of a sick baby and when you have to throw doing lots of laundry into it. I yi yi
