So as I have gotten older (I AM the ripe old age of 22 now...very mature)I have come to understand that I am not so positive. I used to think I was a "the cup is half full" type of gal...that is not so, I misunderstood myself. So now the I realize that I am negative, I figure I might as well do something about it. Only I have another problem...sometimes I just recognize my problems, and then count them as DONE. Like, somehow, in my mind I can justify not doing anything about my weaknesses if I just recognize them.
So in an attempt to become a positive, grateful person I am going to try and spend this month pointing out all the things I am grateful for. November is perfect, seeing as how it is THANKSGIVING.
I am going to start out my thanks marathon with a shout out to my sweet little one! She is the joy of my life. I love her more than I know or can write. She truly is my biggest blessing thus far in my life. After my sister passed away, I became so angry, and couldn't shake this new feeling in my life. I thought that I was just going to have to fight this feeling for the rest of my life. After having Grace those feeling disappeared. She is heavenly fathers answer to my prayers, she makes me happy!
Everyday she does something to make me laugh. I love everything about her. She is a sassy little one, and I wouldn't have her any other way. I never in my wildest dreams ever pictured being a mom the way it is. It is so much harder than I ever imagined, but the rewards are so much sweeter. Grace is more beautiful than I could ever have dreamed up.
Grace, thank you so much for deciding to be ALL MINE! Mama, loves you!

Awww. I was thinking of doing a post about how much I love my girls too. Being a mom is the best, most challenging, trying, rewarding, joyful thing in the world.

I think that's cool that your doing thankful posts. I have a friend whose doing the same thing, except she's doing one each day from a to z. Also, I'm the same as you (and probably pretty much everyone else on the planet too) in that I know my faults but don't do anything to change my behavior. For instance, I know that I'm stubborn but I don't do anything about it. I agree with everyone else about the picture though, very cute of you and Grace.

Great picture! Great post. I think that it is great that we have this month to remind us to be thankful.
That is very sweet. You are so right about the things you said about Grace. There is nothing that can brighten your day than a sweet smile from a sweet innocent child of God. I believe they are heavenly father's greatest blessings to us.
