I always regret not getting ready when I choose to go out in public looking like a homeless woman, THEN I see some old friend...
you can guess what happens next! I feel like a RETARD. Of course THEY (meaning the other people that I see) always look beautiful. Ten TIMES better than they did in high school. I always curse myself for not taking the HOUR it would have taken to get ready, and look somewhat decedent.
Anyways. The point is, I am very thankful for modern day beauty supplies. For the occasion that I DO get ready it really helps me transform myself.
My very favorite is when I go to church. It is the one day that I usually get ready. The rest of the time, people see me looking like I just worked out (but I didn't). So on Sunday EVERYONE says..."did you get your hair cut"..or "WOW, you look really nice"! I always have to just say "no, I didn't get my hair cut, I just got ready, and let my hair OUT of it's ponytail"!
SO there you have it! My next thankful post is to make up, shampoo, blow dryers, flat irons, make up brushes, lotion, perfumes, cute clothes, jewelry...ect...

amen to not wanting to shower and get ready.. its such a hassle! k so im down for meetin up w/ the girls anytime..probably weekends the best? ill call ya this week and we can plan something :)
It's true. You always look adorable at Church. And, YES!! Thank you to modern day beauty supplies. I don't even want to think how women got on before gloss, or washing hair more than once a week. (gross) I'm too lazy tp get ready everyday, but when I do, I have to admit, I feel great! Although I NEVER do without gloss, mascara, and cheek stain. :)
Gotta love me some beauty supplies. But, more often than not, I am in jeans and a ponytail. ;-)
I don't mind the shower part, or even the make-up part...but I canNOT bring myself to do my hari. I only do it on Sundays, every other day I have a pony tail! And I much prefer to wear lounge clothes..no trying to suck in!
