It is ok that you will hate me after seeing my great find from this weekend. Lately I have been a budget FREAK!!! I am all about staying in our budget (could it be the economy?)...so I haven't been shopping in along time. But Spencer was out of town this weekend, and I was spending a lot of time at my parents house. So while I was driving from MY house to my parents, there was a yard sale, I spotted this beauty, and had to stop. I rolled down my window, and asked "how much for the chair"...the lady responded "3 dollars!!!!"...and said "whats wrong with it?"...she said "nothing I just REALLY want to get rid of it." SO I gave her 3 dollars, and told her I would be back to get it. Now I have a great chair with TONS of potential! I am going to reupholster it, and maybe paint the wood. FOR THREE DOLLARS!!! Yea!

That is a cool chair. I really like it! I think I would have had to get it too (for $3!! who could pass that up), despite my claim to NOT reupholster anything in the near future since it took me forever to do that wing chair (and there are still parts that I need to redo).
Cool chair! It reminds me of this groovy couch someone in my home ward had. It was shaped similarly and was covered in red velvet. It was awesome.
I'm impressed. But I'm more impressed you're going to reupholster it. When we move down there, you'll give me lessons on how to be crafty, right?
