First Trip to the Zoo!!

Well I finally took Grace to the Zoo. I was going to go yesterday, but that fell though, but then we got a chance to go today AGAIN! Yea!! My Aunt Kim is the greatest and got us in free with her Zoo Membership. Then we were off. I had my stroller packed with all sorts of things to entertain Grace. She was super tierd b/c she didn't get her morning nap, but there was so much to look at that she didn't seem to mind. She was kinda sober the whole time. I thought that becasue of her wild reactions to dogs, that the zoo was going to be like out of this world...not so. I thought that the petting zoo would be so much fun for her...not so. She mostly just clung to me, and wanted to look at them. I think that if she were not so tierd she would have been more inclind to pet them. She liked looking at the turkeys, and the donkey, and monkeys. She mostly thought everything was a dog. She would point and say "do". Her favorite thing was looking at the turtles in the water. She wanted to climb in, and play with them. She loved feeding the ducks at lunch time. She liked looking at the Bear too. By they way...have you ever seen the bear THAT close? I dont' think I have ever been able to find the bear...and there it was just sitting there on that rock. It did that because it knew it was Graces first trip to the zoo, and it wanted to make her feel welcom. She was such a good sport the whole way. I am so proud of her. I cant' wait to take her back!
