she has what???

So Grace got her 9 month check up on Tuesday this week. She is doing great, and was so funny with the doctor. She only had to get ONE shot this time. I LOVED it! She oviously didn't...but I love that there is just one red mark on her leg, and not like 4! Anyways, the night of her shot, she woke up at like 2:00 in the morning with a temp of 102. She was burning up. Grace has never had a temp like that so I kinda got nervous, but just thought that it was from her shots. I gave her tylonel, and let her sip cold water, and layed under a fan. Her temp went down in about 30 mins, and I let her sleep with us (mostly becasue I was worried). Well the next day she was all hot again, and she was so cranky. I just kept giving her Tylonlel, and she was managable. Well the next mornign she woke up with a super high temp again. So that freaked me out. I called the nurses at my doctors office, and they told me to just bring her in. When I got there the doctor checked her out, and said that she had lots of blisters in the back of her throat! WHAT??? I guess she got sick after her shots...not from the shots, she just got a virus right after. She tested her strep, and it was negitive. She said it is this "hand, foot, and mouth" virus. Grace seems to have a mild case, but a lot of kids get blisters all over there feet, and hands, and mouth. I had it as a little kid too! So stay away from our house, it is contagious! It should go away in acouple of days, but intill then I am stuck with one cranky kid!
