Oh the love of Food
Well this is a really sad, and happy moment in my life. I am so excited that Grace took this HUGE step in her small life...but on the other hand I feel like she is just growing up SO fast. Now I feel like that statement is over used "growing up so fast"...and before I had a baby I would kinda smirk at woman who would say that...BUT NOW, I just competely understand! Anyways, so Grace has been nursing ALL the time lately, and she looks at all the food I am eating, and is so interested in it. So tonight I thought...we should try cearel on her. So I pumped some milk, and got a tbsp on rice, and a tbsp on milk, and mixed (just like how the doctor, and box told me to), then I warmed it up, because my mom is a firm advacate that babies food should be warmed up. I got the spoon, and stuck her in the bumbo (such a versital chair). I gave her the first bite, and much to my suprise she didn't even make a funny face. SHE LOVED IT! It took her acouple of bites before she got the jist of this expirence. I just was cracking up, she just loved eating so much. She finished the first bowl, and wanted more. So I made her another one. She would reach for the bowl after every bite!

Jami! Grace is just so cute! she is getting so big! I can't believe how fast they grow!
i'm so sorry. baby food stage stinks - (my opinion completely!) but great for you that she's happy to eat it and doesn't spit it back!! :) seriously though, you have a dang cute kid.
She is such a big girl now! I think she fits fine into the family. We like our food!
That's exciting! How old is she? Jaxon started eating rice cereal at about 5 months b/c he was totally eyeing all our food and he was nursing a lot too. He didn't care if it was hot or cold though, probably b/c I was too lazy to warm it up, so he learned to like it! I know it is a little heartbreaking when they grow up so fast!
Okay, I think Grace is taking rice much better than Jack. He has a few times but I think the spoon wierds him out too much! But, It really helps him sleep better at night, THANK HEAVENS. Yes Jam, I do miss you. We really need to live closer!
Grace is growing up! I can't believe how big she is getting. I better hurry up and have a kid so it can be friends with Grace... ha :). We need to get together soon!
