SWING!

Dear Posterity:

I started wanting a new swing when I was preggers with Penny. See, I'm a little high maintenance. Or maybe I just need to lower my expectations. BUT, none the less, I really wanted a new swing. Not that I NEEDED a new swing. But seriously, the new ones looked so shiny. They plugged in, and they were so fluffy. HOW can you resist those bunny ears on the cushions? BUT Spencer said that we were NOT buying a new swing.
I could see why he didn't want to get a new one. We had a perfectly good one. One that Grace had never really used. So I put it out of my mind....
TILL Penny came out. She LOVED her swing. I was going through batteries every week. THAT'S A LOT OF MONEY! So it was like in order to SAVE money, I needed to get a new swing. One that plugged into the wall.
Nope, Spencer still wasn't buying into the idea. Well, enter Grandpa Pearcy. He's my moms dad. I like to call him Daddy Warbucks. He sent Penny a nice birthday present. A nice check. A check that bought Penny a new swing. A swing that plugs into the wall. A swing that has bunny ears on the fluffy cushion. One that makes cool noises....

Seriously. It's it pretty??? Penny LOVES it. She take 3 hour naps in this sucker. Posterity. Grace didn't even like her swing. I had to hold her while she slept. I LOVE this swing. I love it more than sugar. OK, I love it equal to sugar.
I am so glad that my grandpa made it all possible.

Love,
a mom that just got LOTS more free time!

My auntie did the same for me. LIFE CHANGING! And one plus of J being a mini is she can use it even longer than chubby babies :)

i saw this swing at Target and decided it was a must have in my life...i'm glad to know you love it so. I would have been annoyed if we had bought it only to find out that it is lame.
