So I went camping...for two whole nights! We purchased a tent heater! It made all the difference! Seriously, we LOVED it! And it made camping so much nicer, and bareable for myself. I might be going camping more often....
Sterling and Debbie, Sean, and Danielle and Caleb (and of course kids) all came up! It was delightful. Grace had SO much fun. She is definetly her fathers daughter. She loves animals, and the great outdoors.
Spencer and his brothers like to shoot squirrels....seriously? Squirrels are cute!!!! Ugh. But Spencer was so proud because Finn LOVED squirrel hunting. He even went and retreived the dead squirrel for him. Spencer heaven...hunting with his dog!
All the kiddos. Seriously...they are a MESS!!!! So dirty.
OK. I hate to brag. BUT! I made THE BEST tin foil dinners ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH! Grace LOVED them. They were so good that I am going to make them at home on our grill again. OK, so I got some sausage (like the jenny O kind) and red potatos, cabbage, green beans, carrots, onions and garlic. I stacked the meat and veggies. Then put lawyers and olive oil in there. Folded them up. Then just cooked them on the coals. We turned them every 10 mins till they were done. IT WAS PERFECT. The meat was tender, and the veggies were perfectly done! It was amazing!

Ug I don't like camping unless it's in a cabin. It's just too dirty for me. And, too much work taking ALL the stuff you need! No thanks! You are a trooper for supporting Spencer!
I'm so proud of your for camping! It always seems like a lot of work-- getting ready to go and then the cleanup when you get home-- but it's so nice to sit out in the wilderness with nothing to do but enjoy the fresh air and the scenery. It's always a welcome break from life.
