Hair!

Grace has been getting hair lately! I mean, 1st a REAL hair cut. 2nd thickening up! It has been so exciting.

All during my pregnancy with Grace I dreamt about a little girl with lots of dark hair. TONS of hair. She came out with some light dark hair...but then it all fell out. And took almost 2 years to grow back.

So it isn't surprising that I have been EXTRA excited about Graces hair growth.

See how cute she is in her Tiana dress (got that for going potty in the toilet for 2 straight days...she has since regressed back to having accidents about one time everyday.) Oh wait...whats that you see? Maybe little short in the front...

Need a closer look? PS: remember when I posted forever ago, how I'm not photogenic? How I have a weird eye, that closes just a little when I smile? How Adam Norberg made fun of it in like 2nd grade, and I have been forever scarred? Looks like the apples doesn't fall far from the tree. I want to apologize ahead of time for all the crap I will and have passed on to Grace...don't worry I am already putting an account aside for her therapy someday.

Aw, yes! There it is...a bald spot right in the front. I love it! Don't you....it is very fetching on her little red head.

Yes, as I was taking her rubber bands out the other night, out came a huge chunk of hair....

Not that I am surprised...really, did I expect to have my daughter go her whole toddlerhood without cutting that precious hair on her own? No, I knew the day would come. Doesn't mean I'm not just a tad bit sad. Hopefully this is the end of her hair cutting days. We talked about it for a long time....but who knows? Like I said before...she is MY daughter. And if you don't believe me, just ask my mom. She'll tell you

"Jami, deserves everything Grace throws her way!"

Yes mom, I couldn't agree more.

Oh my! I caught Justin and Charlotte once with scissors talking about cutting their hair. Thank goodness I caught them in time. They got a nice little lecture about how only grownups cut hair, and if they cut their own hair it'll look silly and we'd have to shave their heads! Hopefully I scared them into obedience.

And don't worry Jami, I'm still praying none of my kids get my crazy toes. :P

HAHAHA! I honestly think EVERY girl cuts their hair at some stage (at least she is only two). When I was in first grade I decided I didn't want bangs anymore so I thought I would just cut them off, funny how that backfired on me.
Grace has great hair, when I did her hair I could tell her hair is going to be nice and thick (Kaydence's hair is thin).
Jamie you are so funny, if Grace is lucky she will continue to be beautiful and end up like her mom.

Oh no!!! At least she didn't do it with clippers... I've seen that before!

I have never once noticed your eye. When I read that I went, "SERIOUS?!! ME TOO!!!" I have one eye that closes more than the other and I have spent years trying to balance them out. AND I was scarred when Austin Pruitt pointed it out in front of everyone in school. I feel you pain.

I'm glad Grace didn't get too crazy and still has some hair :)

jami, you are hilarious! is anyone's face perfectly symmetrical? you are beautiful and so is grace. and not un-photogenic! about the haircutting, have you seen my blog lately? madeleine did it at 3 and i thought that would be it. nope. she did it again at 6. i really hope grace doesn't ever do it again, but don't be surprised if she forgets this lesson and needs to learn it again. btw, don't you want to move to houston so i can have a running buddy? i need one bad. think about it. :)

I wondered what happened but since I didnt hear anything about it I thought it was just baby hairs. Well this explains a lot. Presley WILL go her whole toddlerhood without cutting her hair. Just because Im that crazy. And we dont have any scissors in the house.
