Changes at our house!

With the change of the season, there have been plenty of changes at our house.

A couple of months ago, I told Spencer we needed to fix our garden. When we started it at the beginning of the summer, we did a few things wrong. We put plywood under the tires (the water couldn't drain properly, therefore causing our plants to die). We didn't paint our tires white, so they got to hot. And we needed to cut the lip off the bottom of the tires. Spencer didn't want to do these things, so he thought that maybe we could do the work for my parents in their garden. Then we could reap the benefits of their produce, without having to work on our garden. I agreed, and during conference weekend (when Spencer was at work), I did my parents garden. It was a lot of work. But I was very excited for fresh FREE veggies.
Well this last weekend, Spencer decided that he couldn't neglect our garden. So he did all the work! Yeah, so now we will have LOTS of fresh FREE veggies.
It isn't finished in this picture...well it isn't finished PERIOD, but it is planted. All our garden needs is some finishing touches.

We also did winter grass! I can't WAIT to have grass in the backyard. Less dust, and prettier yard.

When it started to cool down, all I wanted was to eat outside in the morning and at night. So I had Spencer move our table outside. I wish I could get TWO tables, but that is for a different day. For now I am so happy sitting outside to enjoy the beautiful weather (except for this weekend, b/c someone pulled the rug out from under me, and now it is hot again!)

This is my new flower fridge! My dad found it at a auction. This next weekend I have THREE weddings. I can't wait to use it!
