3 years baby!

So our anniversary was actually on Sunday. I am obviously a little late to blog about it....doesn't mean it isn't important.

I don't really have words to describe how I feel about our anniversary...

It was by far my favorite one. We decided that Saturday would be our day to celebrate. Grace took a field trip with my parents to the botanical gardens (I am trying to get pictures from my dad to blog about it). Spencer and I hiked usury pass.

Our first date took place at usury pass/coons bluff. Seeing as how it was my favorite date of all of our dates (best first date EVER).

When Spencer asked me out for the first time I was BEYOND excited. I was so nervous. He was the first guy I was ever really interested in, that asked me out. He drove us out to usury pass, and we hiked to the top. We talked the WHOLE TIME. I had so much fun. Then he took me over to Coons Bluff to roast hot dogs, and mallows. Not only did he have all the food ready in a cooler. He brought fire wood, blankets, games, and drinks. UNBELIEVABLE! So well planned. So impressive. We talked all night cuddled up in a blanket! I was really into Spencer. He took a little more time....

We hung out for about 3 weeks. Running, watching movies. I was DYING. Spencer was not making any moves. I could tell he liked hanging out with me. But no hand holding, no huggin, NO KISSING. I was getting frustrated.

FINALLY he asked me to go to the movies with him. We went to see "fever pitch". He HELD MY HAND!!! Then a couple of nights later, he kissed me.

About a month of dated...and I got tied. The chase was over, and I was bored. (this is turning into a dating story).

We got back to together, broke up, got back together, broke up. FINALLY, we got engaged, and were married on Oct. 25 2006! What a beautiful day. It was everything I dreamed of...except for the getting married part. That part was REALLY nervous. But once everything was over, I was just SO HAPPY! Spencer and I partied the day away!

This last 3 years has been hard, but I just can't believe how close Spencer and I have grown. Last night we were cuddling in bed watching "Gone with the Wind". I couldn't get over how happy I was.

It was an amazing anniversary! Very low key, and loving. Spanky, you are the
best, I love you!
