Happy Birthday!

It seems that every year that I get older, my birthday seems to get more and more anticlimactic??? Does that make sense?

Don't get me wrong...I LOVE my birthday, and every year it is amazing. But the build up is WAY better than the actual day.



This is how this years birthday went down. My mom and dad were going to be out of town on my actual b-day (today). So my lovely mother, and friend took and early shopping trip/pedicure/lunch date. Can I just say how much fun I had. It was great. We started out the day with pedicures, at this REALLY crazy nail place. It was in Chandler, and it was HOPP'IN to say the least. There were SO many women there. They do all these crazy designs on your toes...I guess they are really popular.

Then we headed over to Chandler mall. We went to the MECCA OF JEANS (buckle). I had no idea that buckle had so many cute jeans. It was so much fun trying on all of the jeans...the hard part was choosing which ones I wanted most!




Then we went to bare minerals? WOW, that is addicting. Never been in there and actually shopped. I had so much fun trying things on. I don't think I can ever buy any other kind of make up...it is amazing.

Then lunch at the cheesecake factory (I feel like I am on seriously so blessed right now...shopping/pedi/cheescake factory?). It was amazing as always. I have never gone there and been disappointed.

THEN today was the actual day. My mom made me french toast with buttermilk syrup! One of my favorite. Then Spencer wrote me a SUPER sweet note this morning. He has rubbed my head, back, feet all day, and pampered me to death. He showered me with compliments all day, and has been SO good to me. I love that man! Look at him with Gracie! Aren't they so cute together?


It was a great birthday this year. I love my family and all my friends. Every year just keeps getting more and more complicated...but SO much better! By the way I am 23. I feel dumb telling people how YOUNG I am. But I am 23! yeah!
