We got some fabulous family pictures, Curtice of my wonderfully talented sister in law. I generally don't consider myself photogenic...or maybe I am just funny looking. I always wonder if when I say I'm not photogenic people are thinking "no you just are funny looking!" But whatever....it doesn't matter if I am funny looking or if I just can't take a good picture, the fact of the matter is that Catherine takes good pictures, and I think they turned out nice. But I will say this...what is up with my left eye. It is retarded, and has a mind of it's own. I promise I am not trying to do that....but it ALWAYS does that in pictures...what gives? I can remember the first time that eye started to rebel against my face. It was 2nd grade school pictures. I wore the ugliest dress know to man...but I thought I was HOTT. I had a side little pony tail, and fluffed bangs. I thought the pictures were going to turn out swimmingly...little did I know that my left eye was going to sabotage the whole THING! I got them back and one of the hotties in my class told me "what is up with your eye?" Its been rough ever since!
I will say that black and white, or photo shopped pictures are my friends. I love them, and I love me when I am edited. Also, doesn't Grace look adorable? Is it just me, or is she just really cute? She has been very funny lately. Well she has always been kinda funny, but recently I can't stop laughing at her. It makes discipline difficult. Like when she is doing something naughty(like hitting me, and laughing), I tell her "no", and then tell her to "be soft to your mommy, and give her loves". Grace thinks this is hilarious, and laughs and does it again. Well it turns out that I think it is funny too. DANG IT, so I laugh. Grace thinks this is a go ahead to do it again. And so this is our life. Today I finally tried to crack down. She was playing in the curtains, and so I put her in her crib for like 2 mins. SHE HATED THAT! She still played in the curtains...but she got put in the crib again. It happened like 6 more times....does that mean that I am just punishing her for no good reason? She also ran in the street, and I swatted her bum....she did it again. Is this just 19 month olds...or do I need to change my methods?
Grace has also developed the need to "GO" all the time. I am not kidding when I say "Go". She wakes up, and drinks her bottle (don't judge me...I do it enough for the both of us), and then says "shoe-ie", and then "GOOOOO". She says these two words till she has shoes, and starts to pound on the front door. It was cute for like A DAY...and now it is just hard to distract her. I mean I want to take her places...but I need time to gather things together before we can walk out the door.

Oh my goodness?! A pace maker? Why? Are you all right? I thought only old people who were sick got those.
Oh and your picture are REALLY cute! I didn't even notice your eye and still can't figure out what your talking about.
One of my eyes goes super squinty when I smile big and it makes me look funny in some pics.
Your pictures are so beautiful! So cute!
Umm...hi. A pace maker? Are you serious? That is crazy!
So cute!!! I think we should just walk around in string bikinis just because... I wonder how many "looks" we would get...
Dude,I have no idea what you're talking about with your left eye--you look GORGEOUS in all of these pictures!
And yes, of course, Grace is amazingly cut too. :)
I heard about your pacemaker! EEK! I hope the procedure goes well and that you feel better with it in!
Your pictures are so cute of your little family! I can't believe you have to get a pacemaker! Good luck with everything! I hope it goes well!
Love the first picture! You all look cute!
I love the pictures! You look gorgeous & can I have your skinny arms please? Thanks. You always look great & Grace is so darn cute! Why do you have to get a pace maker? Well regardless I'm glad it will make you feel better & give you more energy. Good luck with everything!
pictures are sooo cute! and I totally have a lazy eye, i despise it in pictures!!! your eyes are fine!!!
Holy PACEMAKER! You are too young!! Why do you need one? I love the family pics. You all look beautiful and I didn't even notice the eye. Grace is soooo cute and getting so big!!
Your family is so cute!!
My mom is a nurse in the cardiac cathlab at Mayo Clinic and she said pacemakers are one of the most routine surgeries. If you have any questions just let me know and I'll ask her!
i always thought pace makers were for old sick people too, then i worked with a guy who got one at 25 and i've never known anyone in better shape then he is! thats just crazy! but you don't notice them once they are in!
I heard about your pacemaker. We hope everything goes smoothly. I thought that the new pacemakers were supposed to go under the ribcage so that you can't see them. Yea for improving technology.
And your pictures are so so so cute! I think you all look really great in them and your little girl is a little cutie :)
Anyway, good luck again!
Jami, you are beautiful and your sis-in-law totally captured all three of you! You all look so good! Especially you, and I agree with prior commenters--I have no idea what you are saying about your left eye. I think you just have a complex thanks to the rude kid in 2nd grade.
Crazy about the pacemaker, but if you will feel better because of it that's great. Good luck!
You're gorgeous and your family is fabulous!!!
Good luck with the pacemaker procedure! I don't know much about it but I am sure that you will have more energy and generally feel great with it.
As with some others, I was hoping for a "why" explanation but its just cause we all love you so much and want to know how you are doing.
And to answer your question...YES Grace is incredibly cute. Its not just your imagination or your motherly bias ;)
I meant to tell you, in response to a previous comment, to PLEASE not feel silly about telling me about your pacemaker. I didn't think it was weird at all that you told me---I was honoured (and it sounds like I knew before lots of other people, so DOUBLE honoured!).
Seriously---I hope I didn't make you feel weird by not knowing how to react. I mean, I think it's good it will help you get your energy back, so I sort of have a positive outlook on it. But, it's not ME getting it.
Anyway, I will not feel bad if you won't feel bad. Deal?
Also---I looked and looked for something wrong with your eye, but I saw nothing. Meh. Cute pics! And cute pigtails on Grace!
Okay, love the family pictures! I think you look great, actually you all look great. How cute!
SUPER CUTE!
Cute family! Yeah for the Pacemaker! Sure, it sucks that you need one, but I'm glad they figured out what was going on with you. Just curious, did they tell you what rhythm you are in? Or are they just hoping that it will kickstart your heart every time it pauses for several seconds? I hope the procedure runs smoothly and that you have good people explaining things while taking good care of you:)
Cute family pictures Jami! Grace is getting so big! Good luck with the pace maker, sounds a little scary but I hope it will make you feel better and more energized!
that first one is just darling!
I love your pictures! That first one makes you look like a super model. Ten kinds of jealous about your hair. My right eye does this weird squinty thing every time I smile. I always thought it was something only my hypercritical self noticed until sophomore year id pictures. Austin Pruitt (whom I've known since third grade) says, "There's the eye thing again. Do you know that one eye is always different. Ooo the crazy eye." I about died because I thought you could only see it in the actual pictures, not taking them too.
And it's completely not fair because I didn't even notice yours at all so maybe I just have a crazy eye.
Love love love!!!!! I especially like the first one.
