Well yesterday SPENCER came home early, and he got to come with us!!! That means that I only had to push the jogger. When we were almost home Grace decided that she wanted to walk too.
I have mixed feelings about Grace walking while we are on a walk. On one hand I want her to get out and walk on her own. I want her to explore the world, and use her brain. I want her to learn on her own. On the other hand it is A LOT more work to have Grace walk on her own. She walks a toddlers pace, and wants to stop and look and check out everything on our way. If she sees a cat, then all is lost. She will usually start chasing it down the street. She also loves to pick up trash, and stick it in her mouth. So it is a toss up if I actually LET her walk.
Yesterday I was being a good momma, and let her get out. Grace started walking down this ally...and I let her. THEN much to my surprise it turned into another ally. I really cool one. So I had Spencer run home and get the camera.
I don't claim to be a photographer. All I am saying is the potential is there. Maybe I can get my photographer sister in law to come and take some family pictures for us...wait...6 more pounds!
Here they are!

Doesn't the one with Spencer and Grace melt your heart? Spencer is the best daddy ever. He loves Grace so much, and is willing to do anything to help her out. Last night he built a fort with her, and read her books inside. Spencer will chase Grace around during Church with a smile on his face. Spencer will sometimes go and get her from her bed (sleeping) and bring her into bed with him so that he can get some extra cuddles before he goes to sleep. Spencer gets so excited to see Grace when he comes home...well and Grace can barely contain herself as soon as she sees her daddy. To tell you the truth we all get really excited when he comes home (Finn included) He is just a real gem of a man!

grace is so stinkin cute. she looks so much like you!
I think those are some great pictures that you took! They look professional. I especially like the last one of her turned toward the fence, she looks like she loves to explore. Really cute!
look at you little miss photographer! I think you should have family pictures by that fence. Very cool.
Cute pics. The last one is my favourite.
I LOVE that last picture. Maybe sometime Catherine could have a photography 101 class for the rest of us. :)
How cute!
I totally used to get up at 6:00 every morning and go for a jog with Jaxon in the stroller and Joey, our dog, on the leash. For some reason, during the whole (almost) 6 months Henry has been alive, I've only been on 1 run...what the heck is wrong with me?
love the pics. love the sepia. love the last one of her peeking into someone's yard. way to go Jami!
