what is up with the men in my life?

Now I am going to clarify before I start this post, that I am not mad, and that I am just having fun, and venting. Well I wouldn't even call it venting, it is just a funny something that happened this morning, and I thought I would share (due to the recent going on's in my life)...
So this morning I got ready (if you can call what I look like getting ready), in my normal lounge clothing. My green stretchy pants, and star gate t-shirt that Whitney so gladly gave to me. I thought to myself "wow, I think I MIGHT be losing SOME weight". This thought caused me great happiness, b/c I have been running, and doing crunches like crazy. I figure if I am not going to watch what I eat, then I better start working out double time. I then started doing my normal chores around the house (cleaning my room, cleaning the kitchen, picking up all of the "stuff" around my house..). Spencer came home early from school, and was going to go into work early. I was really happy to see him, and so was Grace. I made him some lunch, and then he looked at me and said "Wow Jami, you look skinny for some reason?" I was filling up my water bottle, and then threw the cap at him. He INSTANTLY back tracked, and said "that wasn't what I meant". I know he was trying to pay me a complement, and that it came out wrong..but since when have I ever been a kind and understanding person (NEVER).

yay for getting skinnier! A year ago, I told John that I was asked to sing in the ward Christmas program. "Why did they ask you?" was the reply.

It's not what they mean, but what we hear.

Meh. Kyle doesn't even say nice-mean things anymore, because we are not married anymore. At least...that's how it seems when I'm down here so much. I hated missing our anniversary.

Yes for skinny, though! Good for you!
