Garage SALE!!!
So this last weekend I had a Garage Sale. I have been gathering anything and everything that could be parted with and sold. I have 2 main reasons why I decided to have a garage sale. The first being that we are moving in a month, and I wanted to DE-CLUTTER. Also I really wanted some spending money! My friend told me that my sale was a "cigarette sale"...whatever that means! It really wasn't that big of a turn out. I was really hoping to make like 300 dollars...um...I didn't even get 100!!! I ended up loading up a whole bunch of FREE stuff in some ladies car to save me a trip to D.I.! It was a BIG waste of a weekend. Grace was really cute. I was afraid of her getting burned, so my cousin whitney put spencers hat on her. She wasn't too fond of it...but it made for some great pictures! Maybe next time I will post about my sale before!

Same sort of thing happened to my cousin Mary when she tried to have a garage sale a couple weeks ago, my mom says its cause the "garage sale season" is over. It must be the heat.

It's funny how that works. I'm too self conscious to have a garage sale to me it seems like an inviation for perfect strangers to judge you. In essence you're putting your "junk" out there and the people that come by invariably judge our stuff more harshly then we do.
Oh Jami! I'm so sad your garage sale wasn't a success!! It's probably the heat. Try having one in the Fall or next Spring! We will have to do it together.

It's too bad that you didn't make more money. Something like that is lots of work too. I'm sure you'll be blessed for giving a bunch of stuff away to that lady!
