It's about TIME!!!
SO for the last like TWO WEEKS our house has been a MESS! You would not believe how gross it was. First I had the wedding, and my brothers surgery, then this last week I was recovering, and Spencer was sick...SO I let my house go to crap. SO finally today I decided that I couldn't live in this hell any longer. Grace took a great nap (yes, it was amazing, and I am still in aww), and I started cleaning. I cleaned our room, our bathroom, graces room, vacuumed, Spencer did the kitchen, and the hall bathroom, started the laundry, and organized. WOW, I feel like a whole new person. Some of the girls I know can handle their WHOLE lives, plus some...and THEN keep their house clean! I AM NOT...I repeat NOT one of those girls! I get overwhelmed a little too easy. It might have something to do with 5 hours of sleep a night for the past 6 months...that is just a guess. I hope that all of you guys have been better at your homemaking skills.

I'm not any good at it either. You should see my floor right now. The crap on there could feed a small army.

How funny--I just wrote about how filthy my house is. Wait...was that you who commented and told me to clean it up? That was rude.
: )
Glad your house is clean, anyway...even if mine isn't.
I can't think of anyone I know with a baby who has a perfect house. Anyway, I try not to let it stress me out too much. Obviously I don't want to be swimming in uck (or toys) but Simeon is my priority so the house usually suffers. But I know the feeling of wanting to get things clean and it is so nice you you have the chance to go on a cleaning spree. Great job!
Oh jami...I'm horrible and I have no excuse! I have no kids, work only 4 days a week, and its a one-bedroom apt. And it still goes to pot!
It does feel sooo good when its all sparkling clean.
I am totally still getting over the 3-5 hours of sleep at a time stage and my baby is 3! You are doing great! hang in there and let me know if you need some grace free cleaning time, we love girls at our house!!
Hey Jami, this is Jo Alldredge (Brewer). I just want to say that I think your flower arrangements are AMAZING! You really do have a talent for it! I worked in a flower shop for a couple years and was NEVER very good at it. You are awesome! Oh, and it's good to hear that I am not the only one who gets stressed out with things like that. I did all the flowers for my cousins wedding and wow it is quite a task! You are great. I put your link on my blog.
