Bens Surgery!

Sometimes life gives you the short end of the stick...if your name is BEN PARKER, then this is your life!!!! My brother Ben has had the WORST luck in the world. This last 2 years he has gotten shoulder surgery, then he broke his ankle, THEN he got mono, then his spline died, and then he broke his back, and just recently got back surgery to fix it. Talk about the short end of the stick! Durning this last surgery his luck got worse. The surgery that was done on his back is usually done on old people...but since it was done on a young person it was more complicated. His muscles are so young and strong that the doctors couldn't pull them away from his spine...do they had to cut though them (this causing more pain)...THEN they couldn't figure out his pain meds! Ben wasn't responding to the meds, so he lived in UNBELIEVABLE pain for 2 days. He really is amazing, and we are all so proud of him. He is doing great right now, he is really drugged, so he is really funny. He loves to give hugs! We love Ben, and are so happy that he is doing so much better.
