sunday drive

Spencer for the last couple of weeks keeps asking me to go on sunday drives with him! I personally don't get the POINT of a "drive"...I really don't like driving in his beast of a landcrusier, and so a "drive" really doesn't sound like fun to me. But this last sunday I gave in, and we went for a drive with Sean and Mary (spencers brother and wonderful girlfriend) to the salt river. I guess that the salt river doesn't usally have water in it...this is something that I should know, since I am native to mesa, but I don't. Anyways, the salt river is full right now so we had to go and see it. I didn't love the drive, but it did turn out a lot better than I pictured (I just really like going on sunday walks...but I guess if I am going to be married I have to give in every once in awhile). It really was beautiful, and I really enjoyed talking with Sean and Mary. Grace loved being outside, she didn't really love the drive part, just because her car seat isn't her favorite...but she loved the river (like father like daughter).
