Our Dating Story....

1. Where did you meet?

Well I had just got back from China, and I had gained a lot of weight, and felt really gross. I hated doing anything with single adults because I felt so fat...BUT I went to a fireside one night. Me and my friend Liz McKay sat by Jacob Shepard, and after the meeting Spencer (Jacob, and Spencer were in a class together) came and talked to Jacob. Now, you have to know that Spencers mother was my 2nd and 5th grade teacher...so I knew who he was...I just had never met him. So he was talking to Jacob, and I thought...oh, he seems smart...and cute...I should talk to him...BUT I was so nervous! SO I asked if he was Mrs. Pitts son! That got the ball rolling.

2. What was the first thing to you said to him?

Well I just told you that...so I will tell you about the first time we "talked"! So we saw eachother around, and I would say...or he would say hello. We both went to the same instute...I was such a nerd that I would always sit alone..or by Marshall Glass. Spencer would always sit by this one girl...I thought they must be dating. BUT it turns out that spencer thought me and marshall were dating! But one time Marshall wasn't there, and Spencer sat by me...I WAS SO EXCITED!!! anyways, acouple of weeks later, we got talking after class, and he was telling me how he was planning a day hike with a group of people. I told him that I was intersted in going, and THEN, he got my number. This is just a side note...I have always wanted to be a first lady (yes of this country)...and while we were talking he mentioned how he wanted to be the PRESIDENT! yes, my heart melted!

3. Where was your first date?

He called me after getting my number, and told me that everyone had cancled the hiking thing, and wanted to know if I wanted to go on a date with him. Accually I rememeber his excet words..."I would love it if you would come a date with me." I remember thinking "he would love to go out with me"! So we went to some mountain, and hiked to the top, and then down, and THEN we went to coons bluff, and he had this whole fire, and blanket, and hot dogs, and games thing set up. I was SO impressed with his preparedness skills. We just ate, and then talked for a long time...it was a blast!

4. Where was your first kiss?

When we started really hanging out, we started watching movies at his house all the time. Yea, just so you can cuddle. SO we were cuddling, and then he started kissing me. I won't lie...it wasn't magical like our first date. But I was just so excited that he kissed me...I had waited along time. Don't worry, he is an amazing kisser...it just took us sometime.

5. How long did you date?

Well we dated a year and half...off and on. Mostly on, we just broke up like 4 times inbetween...but we would still hang out, and make out inbetween! We met in March of 2005, and got married in October of 2006.

6. Where did you get engaged?

Spencer told me that we were going on a date with his brother and sister in law to get susi. So he came and picked me up, and we started driving. The place the we usally went to was on Southern, and Gilbert. But Spencer was driving to like Red Mountain. SO I asked...where are we going. He told me that there was a new place out there that Sterling wanted to try...and being the stupied person that I am, I belived him. Pretty soon we were in the desert, and I asked again...I doing think a susi place in the desert is going to be very good...and he just bluffed again...and I belived him. THEN we pulled into coons bluff...and I asked "is this coons bluff?", and he said "no"...and I BELIVED HIM! anyways when we got out of the car...he had a blanket set up with some really yummy food, and then cuddled me up, and told me wonderful things about myself...and then asked me to marry him. I said yes...but there were bugs everywhere (and if you know me...I HATE bugs)...and so we left really quick...but I still love thinking about this!

7. When were you married?

We got married October 13th 2007...yes, the most perfect day of the year. I couldn't have asked for a better day. I didn't sleep a wink the night before. And then in the morning, I went and got my hair done, and then spencer came and picked me up, and then we were off to the temple. He drove down 1st st, so we could look at the temple the whole way. We got married, and then took pictures, and THEN, I went and got my hair done again. Then off to the reception....

8. How did your reception go?

I need to metion that I have been planning my wedding for like 20 years! So I had planning my reception over and over again. But it was really PERFECT! I loved my dress, and my flowers, and my FOOD was amazing...and I had carmeled apples, that look amazing, and they were a hit! We had pasta bar, and ceaser salad cups, and bread coming out our ears! Spencer look so handsome. We only had our line for an hour, and then off to dancing! It was so much fun, then we had the limo take up to our apartment (I just wanted the picture)...and then we changed and were off to the nicest hotel room I have every seen. My wonderful aunt and uncle kim and keith got us that for our wedding, it was so fun!

9. How was your honeymoon?

It was a blast! We drove to disneyland! It was spencers first time ever...it was so much fun! I loved every min.! We went to the blue by you, and it was so good...and then we watched the fireworks, and it was magical!
