So right after me and Spencer got married, but Environmental Biology teacher brought in a Desert Tortoise and asked if anyone wanted one, and I took it home to Spencer. We had it in our little studio apartment ( in a cage), but then I decided that she was taking up to much room, and we gave her away to my little Brother Ben. Well Ben didn't really take good care of her...and if any of you really know Spencer you know that, that just doesn't work with him. So he took the turtle back when we moved into our new house, and put her in the back yard. Well the turtle got lost...we actually thought that she had died or something, because Spencer search the backyard HIGH and LOW for the stinking turtle. So we forgot about the turtle till like a month ago Spencer was in the backyard, and I was in the shower. Spence came running in, and pulled me out of the shower, and rushed me to the backyard to show me that the turtle decided to appear! Now we see the turtle all the time, she comes out to eat our grape leafs, and then goes under the shed. And that is the story of the turtle!

I remember when we were little we had a couple desert tortoises too. I think it got away though. Our neighbor always had lots so I loved to go over there and look at them. Very cool pets!
